Our rooms in Saint Donat
Auberge de la Providence has 4 large rooms in Saint Donat. Charming rooms, all with a sitting area: a quadruple room with a double bed and two bunk beds, two triple rooms with a double bed and a single bed, and a large family room with a double bed and two single beds in a separate room.
Each room has a modern bathroom with a shower, toilet, and sink.
Each room has enough space for one or more additional beds. The maximum sleeping capacity for groups is 18 people (15 separate beds). Please contact us for more information about the possibilities.
The rooms are also available as single and double rooms.
Our 4 rooms
All our rooms are beautifully decorated, based on the nature and culture of the different mountain ranges we have encountered during our travels. Since our hotel is located in the mountains, we have furnished the rooms with wall decorations and objects that we have collected during our travels to the east.
Room Himalaya
A bedroom with two separate rooms with a double bed (160 cm), 2 large single beds and space for a sitting area and additional beds.
Room Hindou Kouch
One bedroom with a double bed and two bunk beds in a separate corner. Ideal for couples or families of 4.
Room Karakoram
This room has a double bed (160 cm) and a separate room with a real additional bed. This room also has a traditional French balcony.
Room Caucase
A bedroom with a double bed and a single bed. Ideal for families of three or friends who prefer single beds.
Rates
Room prices vary depending on the number of people, number of occupied beds, booking method, and cancellation policy.
For example, the standard rate during peak season (weekends, school holidays, holidays) with free cancellation up to 10 days before the stay:
- Double Room: €70 (2 people, 1 bed)
- Triple Room: €80 (3 people, 2 beds)
- Quadruple Room: €90 (4 people, 3 beds)
- Family Room: €100 (2 rooms, 4 people, 3 beds)
Non-refundable reservation discount: €5 per night (subject to availability).
Extra person and/or use of extra bed: €10 per night
Pet surcharge: €5 per night
Breakfast and Dinner
We offer a comprehensive breakfast for €12 per person (bread, pastries, butter/jam, coffee/tea/hot chocolate, fruit juice, cheese, cold cuts, fruit, cereals, yogurt, eggs) to start your active day!
Pour les enfants < 12 ans nous proposons un petit déjeuner enfant à 6 €.
Please note: the delivery of fresh bread in Saint Donat is usually around 8:45 am.
Half Board
Half board includes a full breakfast + menu of the day (starter, main course, cheese or dessert) at an attractive price of €35 per person (€17.50 for children < 12 years old). For dinner, we offer a daily selection from our menu. The Menu du Jour is typically a fixed menu, but we are always open to your specific preferences.
The half board formula applies to all days of your stay (exceptions possible upon request).
In addition to the half board formula, we also offer à la carte options in our restaurant.
Reservation conditions
Upon your reservation, we will pre-authorize your credit card. Your card will only be charged upon departure or in case of late cancellation/modification or no-show. A reservation with the standard rate can be canceled or modified free of charge up to 10 days before the stay. After this date, the cancellation fee is 100%. For the non-refundable rate, 100% of the reservation amount will always be charged in case of cancellation.
If there is still enough time before your arrival, you can also make the deposit payment by French bank check or bank transfer. Please contact us via email or phone to make a reservation.
During certain days or periods of the year, we only accept bookings for a specific minimum number of nights and/or with half board included.
IMPORTANT : Due to the limited number of rooms and our strong dependence on tourist periods to sustain our livelihood and keep our small countryside inn open, it is unfortunately not possible to accommodate guests during the high season who, for example, are staying with family in nearby accommodations and are only looking for a room to sleep in! Even if you find availability, we kindly request that you do not book rooms with us for such intentions to avoid unpleasant situations.
